Sorry for the lateness of the hour, but I was covering the race at Lowes tonight and it ran very late. I spoke with Dana at about 8:30 tonight and Jeff had just gotten out of surgery. After several hours of delicate and intricate surgery, Jeff is recovering in ICU. He will be on a ventilator through Saturday night and will have a very long road to recovery. I won't go into all the details of what was repaired and reconstructed, but let it suffice to say this young man has gone through a tremendous amount of suffering already and most likely there is more to come. Join me in continuing to pray fervently for Jeff and his entire family as the healing process begins. Again, the family thanks everyone for all the prayers and thoughts on their behalf thus far and needless to say, still covets our prayers at this time.

I am so thankful the surgery went well and I pray his pain is minimal & his recovery is quick. Continued prayers for Jeff & the family. Love you guys!
